Senator John Fredrickson is an Omaha native, licensed mental health professional, and small business owner who returned to Nebraska after earning social work degrees from New York University and Columbia University and working as a clinician and educator in New York City. He now lives in Omaha with his husband, Jeff, and their son, and operates a private mental health practice. In the Nebraska Legislature, Fredrickson has focused on expanding access to affordable healthcare, strengthening public education, promoting economic growth and opportunity, and advancing equality and inclusion for all Nebraskans.

Chris Andersen is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel, aerospace consultant, and Omaha resident with more than 30 years of military and defense industry experience. A graduate of Indiana University and the Kelley School of Business, Andersen flew B-52 combat missions during his military career and later held leadership roles with major aerospace and defense companies. As a candidate for the Nebraska Legislature, he is focused on property and income tax reform, lowering the cost of living, reducing government regulation and spending, strengthening public safety and law enforcement, and ensuring Nebraska remains economically competitive while delivering efficient government services.
