Gordon E. Kissel
A native of Lincoln, Gordie has worked in the lobbying and association management fields since 1980. As the Executive Director of the Nebraska Association of Resources Districts from 1980 until the founding of Kissel, Kohout, ES Associates in 1994, Gordon was responsible for governmental and legislative affairs in addition to association management. From 1994 until 2017, Gordon devoted full-time efforts to the affairs of Kissel, Kohout, ES Associates LLC. In January 2017, Gordon assumed a senior advisory role at Kissel, Kohout, ES Associates and continues to serve as a resource to the team and as trusted advisor to clients and the firm.
Gordie holds a Bachelor of Science in English and Education from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, a Master of Education from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with an emphasis in Secondary Education and a Master of the Arts in Political Science from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with an emphasis in American Government.
Gordie is married to JoAnn and father to Alex and Meg – his two daughters. He is an avid golfer and grandfather.
