OMAHA—Four new gate areas opened this week in the South Terminal at Omaha’s Eppley Airfield as part of an ongoing airport renovation. The upgraded space features larger restrooms, accessible facilities, and charging stations at every seat. A centralized security checkpoint and pedestrian bridge connecting to the parking garage are expected to open in February, with additional dining options, including local restaurants, planned for next year. The improvements aim to accommodate the region’s growth and enhance the passenger experience ahead of the busy holiday travel season.
