GRAND ISLAND— Thousands of supporters gathered in Grand Island for President Donald Trump’s midterm campaign rally, where he appeared alongside Nebraska Republican leaders including Gov. Jim Pillen, Sen. Pete Ricketts and Rep. Adrian Smith. Attendees came from Nebraska and surrounding states, with many expressing strong support for Trump and enthusiasm for his political movement. The rally also highlighted Republican priorities and efforts to energize voters ahead of the Nov. 3 general election, when Nebraska will have several closely watched races, including contests for U.S. Senate and the 2nd Congressional District.
