PROBATION BLASTS INSPECTOR GENERAL’S CRITICAL REPORT

Julie Rogers, Nebraska’s Inspector General for Child welfare, recently released her annual report in which she was relatively critical of the Probation Programs actions. Specifically the report drew attention to the death of a youth in the juvenile program. In response to the report the Judicial branch put out a statement saying “judges, courts and probation offices work in the real world and make difficult decisions and, as such, have light years more experience than anyone in the Office of the Inspector General. And no credibility should be given to the report, whatsoever.”
